Pretty good match. Dancing Fools were about to leave after they got beaten badly, but Tokyo Magum convinced them to stay. It is now a street fight. But PE still beats the snot out of the Dancing Duo. Wright and Tokyo leave, and Disco is there all by himself. PE stacks up 3 tables on top of each other. Rocko Rock climbs up a ladder and splashes Disco on top of 3 tables. It's a miracle!!!!!

A lot of action in hits match. The announcers kept on saying that Malenko isn't patrial towards anyone. Malenko was counting slow, and the same speed for both men. Back and forth action in the match. Juvi hits the Juvi driver near the middle of the match. But Jericho hits a suplex as both men are down. Malenko begins the 10 count when Juvi covers Jericho, but gets a 2. Jericho gets Juvi in the Lion Tamer, but Juvi gets out of it. Malenko got hit in the face by Juvi, and Jericho nails Juvi with the belt! Malenko didn't see it, and begins to count the pin, but Juvi kicks out! As both men are on the top ropes, Malenko is hit again, this time by Jericho. Dean then gives Juvi a little push towards Jericho from the top rope, and Juvi gets the pin! Juvi is the NEW WCW CW Champ! Jericho attacks Dean at the end, but Dean fights back.

Winner: Juvi, and he is new CW champ now.

WCW/NWO Slamboree

WCW Slamboree Report - May 17, 1998 Hosted by Tony Schiavone, Mike Tenay, and Bobby Heenan Live from Worcester, Massachusetts

Fit Finley defeated Chris Benoit with the Tombstone Piledriver, retaining the WCW Television Title. -Fit Finley used various maneuvers to wear down Chris Benoit throughout the match. With a distraction from Booker T., Finley was able to retain his Television Title by nailing Benoit with the Tombstone Piledriver.

WCW frequently checked back with their Internet position, where there was live coverage and interviews with different wrestlers.

Lex Luger defeated Brian Adams w/Vincent by making him submit to the Torture Rack. -With Luger being distracted by Vincent, Adams was able to stay on top. Out of nowhere, Luger got up, and racked Brian Adams. Adams immediately submitted to let Luger obtain the victory.

Saturn had some pre-recorded comments. He announced he would be taking on Goldberg for the United States Title (instead of the entire Flock).

15-Man Cruiserweight Battle Royal - Winner: Ciclope (Dean Malenko) -Chris Jericho introduced (and criticized) each Cruiserweight, as they made their way down to the ring. They were Super Calo,

Silver King, Chavo Guerrero, Jr., Ciclope, Damian, El Dandy, El Grio, Juventud Guerrera, Marty Jannetty, Kidman, Evan Kourageous, Lenny Lane, Psychosis, Johnny Swinger, and Villano IV. After Juventud Guerrera and Ciclope were left, Guerrera eliminated himself, giving Ciclope the win. Ciclope unmasked himself, and revealed he was Dean Malenko. The Cruiserweight Title match between Chris Jericho and Dean Malenko immediately got underway.

Dean Malenko defeated Chris Jericho by making him submit to the Texas Clover Leaf, becoming the new WCW Cruiserweight Champion. -The advantages of the match ran back-and-forth, leading it to be nothing but physical. Later, Malenko strapped Chris Jericho in the Texas Clover Leaf. Jericho tried to reach for the ropes, but was unable to. He was forced to submit, letting Dean Malenko become the new WCW Cruiserweight Champion.

Head security official Doug Dillinger was outside of the Worcester Centrum. There was a white limozine that was being investigated. It was basically a tease to show Vince McMahon could of been at the pay-per-view. WCW even searched around to make sure he didn't "sneak" into the building. There was also a locker room ready for McMahon, with his name on the door.

Diamond Dallas Page defeated Raven with the Diamond Cutter. -The violent wrestling history between the two continued. As usual, many illegal objects were used. To name off some, there were chairs, trash receptacles, bullropes, pans, fire extinguishers, etc. At one piont, the rest of the Flock tried to interfere, but both Hammer and Raven's riot squad held them back. Two riot squad members (who were Kidman and Horace) started to attack DDP, but DDP was able to take them out. After a few Diamond Cutters were exchanged, DDP executed the final one. Raven did not answer to the 10 count, letting Diamond Dallas Page obtain the victory. Afterwards, an unknown riot squad member started to handcuff the entire Flock. The riot squad member unmasked himself and revealed himself as Mortis.

Eddie Guerrero w/Chavo Guerrero, Jr defeated Ultimo Dragon with the Frog Splash. -Very slow match between the two, with many close pinfalls. When Chavo Guerrero, Jr. got on top of the ring, Ultimo Dragon pushed him off. Eddie suplexed Dragon, followed by the Frog Splash for the win. (Chavo remains under Eddie's control). Afterwards, a very frustrated Chavo attacked Ultimo Dragon, but refused to attack Eddie.

Goldberg defeated Saturn with the Jackhammer, retaining the WCW United States Title. -Both superstars put up a long, physical match. After Goldberg hit Saturn with a spearshot and used a chair for an advntage, he executed the Jackhammer to retain the WCW United States Title. Goldberg continues his winning streak, with 88 wins and no losses.

Eric Bischoff defeated Vince McMahon (who never showed) via Countout. -Ring announcer Michael Buffer introduced Eric Bischoff to the ring. When he introduced Vince McMahon, McMahon no-showed. Bischoff and the crowd counted to 10, and Bischoff was announced the winner by Countout

Bret Hart defeated Randy Savage by making him submit to the Sharpshooter. -Roddy Piper called the shots fairly and unbiasedly. The match between the two went in-and-outside the ring. Big Elbows and Sharpshooters were executed, but both men were able withstand the maneuvers. Elizabeth came down to support Randy Savage. Later on, Hollywood Hogan rammed Savage's knee into the ring-post. Bret Hart took advantage of Hogan's actions, executing the Sharpshooter. Savage immediately submitted to let Hart obtain the victory. Roddy Piper was clueless on what happened to Savage.

Sting & The Giant defeated The Outsiders w/Dusty Rhodes via Pinfall, becoming the new WCW Tag Team Champions. -Scott Hall started off by doing his survey, to determine whether fans were there to see WCW or the NWO. A lousy chant for WCW; a good chant for the NWO. Great teamwork and tags were done, which made both teams have a frequent amounts of advantages. Later on, Dusty Rhodes distracted the referee. While Kevin Nash was setting up The Giant for the Jackknife Powerbomb, Scott Hall hit him with one of the tag team belts. The Giant then pinned Kevin Nash for him and Sting to become the new Tag Team Champions. The Giant told Sting he will have to decide tomorrow on Nitro if he will side-off with the Hollywood Hogan's New World Order.
